Two - 2-year old female guinea pigs with cage

J Updated

Our Story

These two guinea pigs are both females and approximately 2-2.5 years old. Our daughter named them Izzy and Sophia and she has been very affectionate towards them from the time we got them. She has taken time to research and provide the best care possible while learning responsibilities and care for animals. Unfortunately, we travel more frequently now, she is involved in sports and other activities, and we feel they would be better suited for a home with more time to dedicate towards them.

With the guinea pigs, you can have all of the following: the cage, two water bottles, hay feeder, food dish, 3 "castles", brush, nail clippers, and any remaining feed, hay, bedding, and vitamins at the time of pick up. This is a big value/head start to owning these pets.

Please note that guinea pigs are not necessarily an inexpensive animal to keep. Plan to regularly purchase feed, hay, vitamins, bedding, and chewable toys. If this sounds like too much, please look for a different pet.

The guinea pigs come with a two story cage that provides roughly 12 square feet of living space. The cage is built from wood and has a non-toxic waterproof coating to prevent moisture from soaking into the wood. It is heavy and isn't 100% perfect, but has provided a good home for them for the past two years. You may take this cage at no cost if you want it.

Rehoming because

We bought these two little guineas as a gift for our daughter shortly after the passing of her pet hamster. She has loved them and done an excellent job taking care of them; however, we travel a lot more now and she has a lot more responsibilities that take up her time. We are looking for a good home that can show them the time and affection they deserve.
