Buddy-male Abyssinian needs new home Urgently
Our Story
My husband and I have had 4 rescued guinea pigs. 3 of them lived out their full lifespan with us and the youngest is now 3(ish) years old. We got him from a pet store he had been surrendered to. They had no idea of his true age but, he was likely about 8 weeks old. His name is Buddy. He's a beautiful butter colored Abyssinian. I would not call him a "biter" but he has been known to "nip" when he is frightened. He's not big on being picked up but he will usually sit and eat a carrot before he gets restless and wants to go back in his cage. He was bonded with an older pig who died and he has been alone since then, about 8 months or so. He is a good veggie eater and has no medical problems that we are aware of. I have everything he needs and its all very nice condition. Items include hay, orchard grass and kibble, fleece, water bottles, snacks, and a C&C cage with 2 corrugated liner trays.

Rehoming because
My husband died unexpectedly and I have to move. I will not be able to take Buddy with me so, I wanted to try to find him a good home before I am forced to take him to the Humane Society. This breaks my heart to lose them both at the same time.Timing
