Someone not responding?
It can be frustrating when someone doesn't get back to you. Please respond promptly to legitimate inquiries.
Listings auto-expire 3 weeks from listing date, renewable in 3-week increments. Reminders are sent 7, 5, and 2 days from expiration. If you are rehoming, please delete your listing promptly when no longer available!
Surrender to a Rescue?
If you are rehoming, please use this site to create a listing. It works! Many rescues are full and reserve openings for pulling from shelters. That is, if you have a guinea pig rescue near you. There aren't that many across the country.
Feeling Desperate? In a hurry?
Never "release" your guinea pigs outdoors. Domesticated pets will not "survive in the wild." It's a painful death sentence. Take your pets to your local city or county shelter, animal control, SPCA, or Humane Society where they will likely be adopted out.
Please see this list of additional local resources you can try for rehoming your guinea pigs.
