3 Female Guinea Pigs looking for a new home

A Updated

Our Story

We got these girls over a year ago around Christmas. Theirs names are Petunia, Lilly, and Poppy. With have four young kids who we adopted the for. Lilly and poppy are very friendly while petunia is a little more nervous. They have always been kept together and get along well. Poppy especially loves her head scratches. As mentioned above, my oldest has had a hard time in recent years, we originally go the guinea pigs as a support animal for him. For a while it helped but his struggled has peaked in the last year which has had us bouncing between multiple schools, psychiatry, and therapy appointments. He finally made it in a special IEP program in another town from us. Aside from him I have a 1,4, and 7 year old who have been juggled through all of this. The Guineas will always hold a special place in our hearts, I am just so emotionally and financially stretched thin that I am becoming very overwhelmed juggling this and trying to care for the Guineas. I would love to find a loving home for them, they are the sweetest girls.

Rehoming because

Due to no fault of their own, we have four young kids and my oldest has an emotional disability has been having a hard time and has been moving to specialty schools, I’ve been struggling to keep up with their care while also taking care of my son and the younger children who aren’t old enough to really help care for the Guineas yet. They aren’t getting the care and love they need and I’m spread to thin and emotionally have to many things going on, I think the best thing for them and us would be to find a home that has more time for them than we can offer.
