5YO Female In Need of New Piggy Family

C Updated

Our Story

We are looking to rehome our 5yo female piggy, Opal. Opal has lost two bonded partners over the course of her life, and since we’ve recently had a baby, we do not have the capacity to give her the attention and care she deserves, especially as a solo pig. Opal loves veggies, especially cilantro and cucumbers, and will put her front feet up on the enclosure to beg for treats when she hears a bag crinkle. We’d love for her to find a new piggy family to join!

We are located in the Richmond area, but are willing to meet anywhere in a ~1hr radius.

We will include as much of her equipment and leftover food as you’d need. We have a raised enclosure, washable bedding, hay, pellets, bowls, cleaning supplies, a travel carrier etc. We’d strongly prefer her to go to a home with other piggies vs a solo transfer. Message me if you’re interested!

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
