Our Story

Fig & Kiwi are a really sweet pair of girls. According to the vet, Fig is an American guinea pig. Kiwi appears to be a mix of American and perhaps Peruvian. Kiwi is very vocal, especially at mealtime. And if you're singing - she will sing along! Figgy is a bit quieter but still wheeks from time to time and definitely has a sassy side. They bicker with one another, but also snuggle and hang out. Likes are lettuce, mini bell peppers, pea flakes, fresh water, hay, the occasional strawberry, and floor time (with treats, and without other pets). Dislikes are really loud noises. We are hoping to rehome them together. Adoption fee is $99 which will include both pigs, their 2 x 4 C&C cage with/loft, and a couple of fleece mats. We want to see them go to a loving home.

Rehoming because

We've had the girls for just short of 1.5 years. Their human mom is about to start high school and has a lot on her plate with academics and activities and sports. They just need more care and attention than she has time to give. They have been loved and well cared for and we'd like to see them go to a happy piggie parent who has the time and energy to devote to them.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
