Jaundice - Adolescent Male

S Updated

Our Story

My partner and I have begun taking in small animals that are being removed from corporate chains (such as PetSmart and Petco) due to their behavior, age, or other nonsensical reasons. Because they are free and often have more complicated needs, we were concerned someone would adopt them without the knowledge required of the situation. We foster for about a month before listing to ensure we are familiar with the behavior and habits of the animal. We are always available for questions or to support, but we will require proof of acquisition of an adequate set-up and supplies for the animal before adoption.

Rehoming because

This lovable boy does not get along with other guinea pigs and was given to me as a foster pig so I could go through the process of finding him a forever home. I have two guinea pigs of my own and cannot permanently take in another, but he is an absolute sweetheart who loves people, enjoys socializing with them, and loves to cuddle. He'll come right up to your hand to get chin scratches and is quite active at all hours of the day. Jaundice eats adult food, timothy hay, and vitamin C supplements. He can get a little confused on how to use his water bottle, but once he figures it out, he has a great time drinking water. He truly is a lovable pig; he just can't share space with another pig(s) (no matter the size of the cage, trust me, we've tried).
He doesn't have jaundice; it was just a funny name given to him due to his coloring-- you may rename him.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found.
