Frankie the Fabulous needs a Friend
Our Story
Frankie is a 3.5 YO boar. He loves to interact with people and he actually enjoys the cats! They don't try to eat him, but my girl cat is always grooming him, which he tolerates for a short bit. He really enjoys the summer when we take him outside with just the top of his enclosure so he can feel the grass on his feet and nibble on dandelions (untreated, of course). He enjoys watching Spongebob Squarepants and listening to classical guitar music. His cage is by a window so he can see outside year-round and his happy place is a sunny corner of his cage where he takes naps.
Rehoming because
Frankie was my daughter's guinea pig. She moved out and left Frankie and his cagemate, Gus, with me. Gus passed away from cancer and Frankie seems lonely. I work two jobs outside the home and although I do interact with him as much as I can when I am home, I can see that he is lonely. My cats keep him company when I'm away but I think he needs his own kind. I am hesitant to get another piggie because of my schedule. I'd love to find a home for him where he can be part of a herd. I don't want to just dump him at a shelter. He's too sweet for that.Timing

Can you SHIP?
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
