Our Story

We got both piggies in 2023 about 2 months apart from each other making them almost 2 years old each. Memo is the American piggie, while Maximo is the Peruvian piggie. Memo is the more outgoing as he is the one to immediately stretch up the cage to get a little treat or just a little loving. Maximo is the more shy one and with any sound will run and hide in his hideout. Don't let his shyness fool you though once he gets comfortable he loves a good back scratch! They are both highly motivated by food and can pick new habits quickly when treats are involved. They are both sweet and gentle and can't help but wheek when they get a good whiff of veggies, especially lettuce! They also come with everything you need to get started from their cage, hideouts, water bottles, and their favorite food!

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
