Maia & Basil, 2 Females, Need a New Home ASAP
Our Story
I got Maia and Basil 3 years ago in 2021. They are sisters and I got them as babies. Basil is a Short-haired guinea pig and Maia is an Abyssinian. They are both 3 years old, in very good health, and have adorable personalities. They are more skittish towards human touch--they unfortunately had a traumatic vet experience when they were adolescents, but with enough love, time, and care, they will open up to touch & physical affection.
Guinea pigs are sensitive creatures that require gentleness--if you have other pets and/or children who would not handle them gently, I would not feel comfortable rehoming them there.
The picture I will be posting is of the flyer. Its $270 for EVERYTHING (2 guinea pigs, their entire enclosure, 2 liners, their food, bulk-box of hay, cage equipment, litter box, and 2 bulk-boxes of litter box filling. Actual Value: $540). I am completely open to compromise and negotiation--the most important thing to me is them finding the right home ASAP, and less the money.

Rehoming because
I am moving abroad and cannot take my guinea pigs with me. I leave Dec 11th and need to find them a new home ASAP. Over a month ago, I put flyers for them, but nobody had reached out, and so I came here in hopes of finding them loving owners.Timing

Can you SHIP?
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
