Cute Female Bonded Pair (Allergy Issues)

T Updated

Our Story

We bought this pair of females from That Pet Place in Centerville about 1.5 years ago. These were purchased for my wife as pets. Within the past 6 months, I have been having allergic reactions when handling them. It has become so bad that I can no longer have them in the home with me.

Their names are Tweety (The smaller Female), and Fluffy (The Larger Female). Currently, my son is their caretaker but he does not have the same interest in them as my wife and I do. I would like them to find a home where they can be cared for and have plenty of roaming and handling time. I hate to send them away but I can not handle the reactions anymore as it is affecting my breathing.

The girls are VERY friendly! They are often skittish recently due to less handling, but I feel once they adjust to their new owner, they will come back around! They love being pampered with snacks while watching tv on the couch. They like dried veggie chips, as well as dried apple and banana chips! But more than anything they LOVE their ROMAINE!

We have a huge pen for them (about 5.5'x2.5') with storage bins/cubbies, hideouts, a potty tray, a hammock, a tunnel, ramps, food and water supply, and toys. We are including the pen, and ALL supplies (food, hay, all pen items and pen, bedding, fluffy mats, and more). I do not want to separate them from their home and supplies as they are accustomed to it all at this stage in their lives!

We are asking only a $50 rehoming fee for the pair, but EVERYTHING must go with them (Pen and all!) We have well over $500 into the pen, and supplies, so if you're willing to take these ladies and treat them well, then you will be set up from day 1! They are fully on OxBow Adult Essentials Feed, and OxBow Timothy Hay, and use HEMP bedding for their potty tray. They get fresh Romaine lettuce and random fresh vegetables daily. We have only used spring water for them so you should consider keeping them on spring water.

Please help me find them a great forever home, and save me from these new allergies :/

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
