Our Story

Winston and Charlie have been serving as emotional support guinea pigs to a EC - 8th grade school for the last year and a half. These boys are well-socialized with kids and have bonded together. As their current foster momma, I want to see them go to a good home where they will get more than I can currently give them.

Rehoming because

I have been fostering them in my School Social Work office since taking over my role from the previous counselor who had them as a “school pet”. It is too distracting from my normal duties and I drive to and from school on the weekends to ensure they have ample food and attention. I would bring them home as my own pets if I didn’t have a border/lab/Aussie dog with insane prey drive. Want to see them go to a perfect home!

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
