Rehoming Sweet Baby Abysinnian Boy

J Updated

Our Story

When I got this little boy two weeks ago, I thought he was a female. I would love to keep him but cannot risk him impregnating my older sow. He is very young (approx. 5 weeks old), and I just don't think it would be fair to keep him in a separate cage all alone for the next few months until he is old enough to be neutered. I am willing to wait as long as needed to find the right home and herd—or piggy friend—for him to join.

He is a very energetic boy who loves to wheek, zoom, popcorn, and be with other piggies. He's got a huge personality and is very vocal! Just a total sweetheart! He got on really well with my older sow before I had to separate them upon finding out he was actually a boy. He also seems to enjoy lap time and quick cuddles.

He's already been treated with ivermectin drops to ensure he doesn't have any mites. I feed him a diet consisting of alfalfa hay, timothy hay, orchard hay, grain-free pellets, and a wide variety of fresh veggies. He also gets one mL of vitamin c daily and some Benebac (to boost his immune system since he is so young).

I will include several linens, as well as a large box of Small Pet Select alfalfa hay, some pellets so he can make a smooth transition into his new diet, his favorite water bottle, toys and hidey, a bottle of Child's Life Vitamin C, and some Benebac.
