Our Story

This is S'more and Cowlick, both about 9 months old. They each have their own little personalities. S'more is curious and likes to be pet. Cowlick is a popcorning champion. He is slow up and down the ramp in their cage, but loves to jump up onto their platform. S'more will zoom up and down the ramp. Cowlick is not a fan of being pet. They have an exercise tent with a tunnel, and he loves getting the zoomies around it. I make a house frame from willow branches that they love to chew on; it has a washable fleece cover. They both love fresh willow leaves and branches to eat, in addition to sweet peppers, kale, cilantro, and parsley. They are bonded and will chatter to and for each other if they are ever separated. We want a good home for them that will enjoy their personalities as much as we do.

Rehoming because

I got my kids these guinea pigs because we could only have small pets where we lived. My oldest spends a lot of time in sports now and the skittish nature of the guinea pigs makes me younger son nervous. I am limited in my interaction with them because I am allergic, something I only discovered after holding them and handling their bedding. When I had them as a kid I was not allergic to them. So they do not get the amount of interaction and socialization that they deserve and need.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
