Chai; in desperate need of a new home

C Updated

Our Story

I received Chai as a gift 4 years ago, completely unprompted. I was under qualified to care for a Guinea pig, but I did my research and did my best to give her the best care I could. She has been with me throughout all of college, and lived with her sister, Chili, for around two years. Chili passed around a year ago, and I have been unable to get her a new friend to live with. I face severe mental health problems, and as a result the quality of her care has deteriorated. I just want her to live the best life possible, with someone who has the mental stability to properly care for her. Given she is around 4 years old, and turning 5 in August, I would love for her adopter to keep me updated on how she is doing, and let me know if she passes.

Rehoming because

Chai lost her sister a year or two ago, and as much as I meant to get her a new friend, I knew I did not have the mental capacity to take care of two pigs.
I have been facing severe mental health and financial issues and I am just unable to provide her the care she deserves anymore.
