Hi My name is Cara, I'm a single mom of two elementary age boys. I have fostered many cats for adoption and I'm very animal centered and responsible fury loving mom.
I got these two sweet little male guinea pigs in a situation 3 years ago from a Pet shop that had them dropped off at their door overnight. My sons and I happened to be going there to pick up food for our foster cats and encountered an overwhelmed staff that could not help them(due to just being opened one day a week because of Covid), at the time we could so we took them in, they are brothers, we rehabilitated them as they were sickly and not socialized to one another or people. They are now very healthy and share a large area to be with each other, they are so well trained they have no cage but do not leave their area and the one cat we have actually gets in with them frequently(yes it defies logic)…… These two guinea pigs are truly wonderful and sweet and love to be held and love interactions of sound and talking to them is a treat. However despite the heart ache of considering finding them a much better place to be loved on and have a more full life that I can not give them outweighs my sentiment and attachment.
I need a very loving home for them that is stable and can be as attentive as they deserve. While I could out of my Love for them continue to give them a good enough home, its just heartbreaking for me to see what they could be and I know I fall very short of being able to do this.
