Our Story

Lelo and Luna (4 years old) have been such a meaningful part of our household but it’s time to share them with another family. With our lives getting busier and kids getting older along with moving in the coming weeks, we are looking for the right next home for these two guinea pigs.

They are incredible with kids and other pets (see photos) and love to be handled and cuddled.

We have all the supplies needed to support them (large cage, carrier, hay, food, blankets and pads, cage cleaner, toys and more).

It’s important to us that they go to the right family so this is not first come-first serve.

Please reply or message us if you’d like to meet them and talk more about giving them a new home.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!

If you are rehoming, please use this site to create a listing. It works! Many rescues are full and reserve openings for pulling from shelters. That is, if you have a guinea pig rescue near you. There aren't that many across the country.

Never "release" your guinea pigs outdoors. Domesticated pets will not "survive in the wild." It's a painful death sentence. Take your pets to your local city or county shelter, animal control, SPCA, or Humane Society where they will likely be adopted out.
