Three sweet male guinea pigs need a new home!

Our Story

Background: Our first two piggies that we got were buttercup (black with cappuccino spots) who was 6 months old and is now 1 year and 6 months old and Coco (cream colored) who was also 6 months old and is now 1 year and 6 months old. Buttercup is definitely the dominant guinea but is also very gentle and easy to handle. Coco is a bit more reserved and more difficult to pick up initially until he trusts you. We then got another guinea pig his name is Bruno. He is the same age as the other guinea pigs (maybe a few months younger and a bit smaller) and he is white and light brown (the guinea pig you typically picture when you think of one) with a cute little colic on the top of his head. Bruno is extremely gentle easy to handle and allows you to pet him after building trust.

Health: All three guinea pigs haven't had any health issues. They require their nails to be clipped about every two months or so and we have been giving them a bath once every six months with Dr. Bronner's non-scented soap.   Nutrition: Between the three piggies they get one big bowl of various vegetables in the morning between 8 and 9 a.m.. They also have a bowl of basic pellets (ensuring they are enriched with vitamin c) and they also love pea flakes as little treats that you can hand feed them and earn their love.

Habitat: The habitat is provided with the purchase of the piggies along with the fleece liners scent absorbing pads hay and hay bin 2 full bags of pellets 2 water bottles wood hideouts several C&C cage pieces are included toys bags for washing fleece liners and several other supplies. The only product not included is the table that the habitat is sitting on but I would be willing to sell it for the right price.

Rehoming because

When my kids and I got our guinea pigs, our lives were easy going and I was a stay at home mom doing online classes toward my graduate degree in counseling. I am now in the clinical portion of my training, which is very rigorous and demanding, making it difficult to care for our piggies like we used to. My kids are too little to do it themselves and they are also in school full time. We love our piggies and it was very hard to make the decision to find them a new home. They are so loving and sweet. We are hoping to find a home for them that can tend to their needs. I will provide any information regarding how to best care for them and what they like/dislike.
