Male Bonded Pair 1 year - Butters & Waffles
Our Story
We rescued them when they were just babies from the Richmond Animal Control - they were in a home with 30+ other guinea pigs and being bred to feed lizards. They were very scared and not well taken care of. Over the last year, we've seen them come into their own and really enjoy life. Their most favorite thing is getting a clean cage - they are home bodies and most comfortable in their enclosure. Anytime you get the vacuum out to clean their cage they start popcorning, it's so cute. They get sad when they are separated, even for a few mins. They always nap close to each other and love chasing each other and exploring together. Sometimes they have little playful fights but it's all in good fun. They love veggies and if they haven't had their veggies that day, they will let you know :) They are such sweet boys and we will miss them terribly.
Rehoming because
We rescued Butters and Waffles in April 2025 - since then, we've had a lot of family changes and now we are stretched too thin. We are moving, expecting a new human baby and also got new jobs. Don't worry these boys are still very spoiled and well taken care of but we can't sustain their care for the long-term and are looking for another guinea pig lover to provide them a wonderful home. We are rehoming them along with all of their stuff (cagetopia cage, many fleece liners, food bowls, disposable liners, "kitchen area", more hideys than I care to admit, water bottle, pet sling for cuddles, 2 play yards, tunnels, wooden chews, grooming tools, how to care for guinea pig book, vitamin c treats, and enough food and hay to last for about ~4-5 weeks). They are around young kids and dogs and while they aren't the MOST comfortable with snuggling right away, they get used to it. They love being outside in warm weather and spending time chewing on grass.Timing

But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found.
