Our Story

Tofu and Milo came into our lives in summer 2025 and quickly became part of our family. They’ve been loved, handled regularly, and raised together in a calm home environment. Unfortunately, our daughter has developed severe allergies to the hay guinea pigs require daily. We’ve tried since August to make it work, but her health has continued to be affected.

This decision was not made lightly. Our goal is simply to do what’s best for everyone involved — especially Tofu and Milo. We’re hoping to find a kind, responsible home where they can stay together and continue to be loved and well cared for.

Rehoming because

We are rehoming our two bonded male guinea pigs, Tofu and Milo, born around June 2025. They are gentle, socialized, and have been handled regularly. They live well together and should be adopted as a pair.

This decision is very difficult for our family. Our daughter has developed severe allergies to the hay guinea pigs require daily, and despite trying since August to manage the situation, it has become unmanageable for her health. Their well-being — and hers — comes first.

They will go to a loving home with:
• Their cage
• Their houses (as shown in photos)
• A small rehoming fee of $40 to ensure a serious and responsible adopter

They have truly become part of our family, and our hope is to find someone who will care for them with the same love and commitment. We’re happy to answer questions and would love to see them placed in a safe, knowledgeable, and permanent home.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
