3 Guinea Pigs that love to play

We’re a family of four kids who absolutely love animals, and that’s how our guinea pig journey began. Our youngest daughter fell in love with Banana Pickle Pepper, a sweet pig who is now about three years old. Soon after, we added Frazzle, an Abyssinian with the most unique and fun coat you’ve ever seen. Before long, our oldest daughter claimed Frazzle as her own, and I found our third pig—a shiny-coated little boar—through a rehoming ad. All three quickly became cherished members of our family. But life has changed. Two years later, severe allergies have developed in our home. My oldest daughter and I now suffer from skin irritation, extreme itching, and my asthma flare-ups that require constant use of an inhaler due to the timothy hay. On top of that, one of our cats has started intimidating the guinea pigs, and we fear it may harm them despite our best efforts. This isn’t about wanting to give them up—it’s about needing to. If the pet store had warned us about timothy hay allergies, we never would have faced this heartbreaking situation. These guinea pigs are loving, funny, and full of personality.
