Our Story

Buttercup, unfortunately, came from a pet store with lackluster conditions, including no proper interaction with other piggies. He has since grown fond of his hammock, hay tunnel, and zoomies in the living room. We know he would be so much happier with other guinea pigs to socialize with.

Rehoming because

Our lovely piggie needs a new friend! He is a very easy guinea pig to please with treats, but takes a while to warm up to people, and possibly other piggies. Please note he is unfixed! Will need him rehomed before our family leaves the state for his well-being by next Summer. He MUST be re-homed with at least one other piggie.

He comes with his hammock and rooftop, hay tunnel, his hanging toys, and whatever is left of what we have in Guinea pig food at the time of adoption.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
