Archie and Scooter are a bonded pair of male guinea pigs who became friends at the rescue!

ARCHIE was born fall of 2020, and lost his first cagemate to cancer. He was very depressed, so we introduced him to Scooter and now they are the best of buds! Archie is a "grumpy old man" but he is gorgeous and loves treats. He is "boss pig" and can be particular. He will let you know with a gentle nibble when he is done with handling.

SCOOTER is much younger, born in the fall of 2024. He came to Tiny Whiskers when his owner could not afford removal of a large abscess on his neck. They surrendered him to a local vet clinic who removed the abscess and then reached out to us to find him a new home. He is a wonderful little baby pig, learning so much from Archie and his foster home. He does well with handling and even came to an event with us! Scooter should be monitored for any recurrence of the abscess but we are hopeful it is gone for good.

Both are used to respectful kids, dogs, cats, and loud noises and would adapt easily to any home environment.

We can meet for adoptions within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Faribault MN for adoptions. Potentially further- please inquire and we can discuss!
