Rehoming Two Sweet Boys
Our Story
We love these piggies. During pandemic, my daughter convinced us to get guinea pigs. Those original guinea pigs turned into 10. I hadn't intended on keeping the baby guinea pigs, but one of them was being ignored by its mum and was limp and very near death. I worked really hard to save him from the brink of death. He was all brown except for a white paw, so he became White Paw. Amazingly, I was able to save him, and in the process I grew a bit attached. His parents were a black long-hair guinea pig. His mom was a sweet brown and white rex. We kept another baby to be his buddy. His buddy has black sleek fur and a little white patch on his head, so we named him Pepper, like a pepper flake. (His dad is the same black long-hair, and his mom was a butterscotch American short hair).
I've done everything I could to figure out how to live with these guinea pigs even though I've developed severe allergies this past year. I've moved them into cozy setups in the garage. I've gone for allergy shots. The allergies have settled slightly, but are still a strong presence. I'd like to be free of my symptoms. So I'm looking for an excellent home for these two. Although I'm looking forward to being symptom free, I am looking for the right home for these sweet guys.
White Paw's birthday is August 28 Pepper's birthday is September 16
Asking $100 for the pair. We have lots of blankets (with waterproof backing) and C&C cage grids and parts to include if wanted, water bottles and other supplies.
