Charlie - 3 year old neutered male
Our Story
I have had Charlie for three years, and he has always been extremely aggressive with other guinea pigs. He has been neutered almost a year ago. He is not potty trained. Charlie occasionally bites, mainly when he is being picked up. I have made LOADS of progress over the years with his biting, and now it rarely happens. Now he never draws blood, and I have noticed he only nips me when I have long sleeves, I think he likes to chew the fabric as I hold him and that’s when he accidentally gets me.
Charlie is a great guinea pig, he just does not play well with others. I have three other male guinea pigs who have gotten along fine for years, but Charlie has never been able to be part of the herd. He is extremely aggressive towards other guinea pigs, but unbelievably kind and loving towards people. I feel that he would be amazing for someone who only wants one guinea pig, as I do not have the space to adequately home him separately from my other boys at this time.
I am very open about him not being an ideal pig, he is well suited for someone who is very familiar with guinea pig body language, and someone who is willing to spend time building trust with him.

Rehoming because
I am rehoming Charlie because I cannot give him the life he deserves. He is an unbelievably cuddly and affectionate guinea pig, but he does not get along with my herd. Charlie is best suited to live as a solo pig, and I do not have the space to adequately house him anymore. I would love for someone else to be able to enjoy this sweet boy’s personality!Timing
