Two adult bonded females, supplies included

Our Story

Percy (1.5y, Abyssinian) and Gideon (4.5y, American) are two bonded females. They are both very sweet and not too shy. Percy often comes up to me when I'm sitting near her and gives me licks or nibbles, and I like to spend time under the blankets in bed with both of them. They love to eat fresh hay, lettuce, bell peppers, dandelions, carrots, fruit, and grass. Gideon sometimes picks on Percy, but they become distressed when separated, so they need a lot of space as well as two food bowls and two water bottles to get along.

They currently live in a 2x6 ft area that is partially boxed in and partially open to another 6x4 feet that they can go into as they please. Their box walls are six inches high, and they don't need the higher metal C&C grid to stay in their box. I can provide a small (dirty) 2x3 C&C box (27" x 41") and 9 fleece blankets that fit that box, as well as water and food bowls, but they will need more space than that to thrive. When they were living in the closed box, Gideon would bite Percy, and Percy is still wary of Gideon even now. I'm looking for a stable, safe home for my guinea pigs with plenty of space, and if you are confident you can provide that, reach out. Adoption fee is open for negotiation, but I'm thinking around $80.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
