Two sweet male Guinea Pigs need a new home

Our Story

We are a 60 something retired couple who live with out twenty year old son. He will be moving out soon and we want to travel in our converted van for longer periods of time and can't keep the piggies. They have been great pets and we love them but can't keep them and live our dream of seeing the country. We will include both cages, huts, all our cage mats and pee-pads, water bottles, etc. You won't have to buy anything but food, and we'll give you what we have of that.

Rehoming because

Our son rescued one of these and then adopted the second to keep it company about a year ago these, but he is now working full time now and has lost interest. My husband and I are both retired and want to start traveling for longer times and have no one to take care of them daily. They are sweet and cuddly but fight if put in one cage, so we have them in a separated cage side by side so that they can see each other. They are wonderful pets, quiet at might and will meep-meep when they think they hear the rustle of the lettuce bag.

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
