Young male guinea pig needs home

C Updated

Our Story

Henry is an unneutered male guinea pig, maybe a year old, we didn't get an age but a vet told us their best guess. We adopted him with his two brothers in December, but since then they had a fight and can no longer be in the same enclosure. (We tried bonding them multiple times with no luck)

We unfortunately don't have the extra room to keep him. He's quite shy but once picked up is pretty easy going. We're more than happy to try a playdate if you're looking to bond him with a guinea pig you already own. He seems fine by himself but would rather him have a cage buddy. He's allergic to wood shavings, so ideally paper or fleece bedding is recommended. (He had a terrible allergy rash when we first adopted him, so we took him to the vet immediately. He's healed wonderfully since.)

Please feel free to message me any questions you may have. I will not let him have a playdate with a female guinea pig unless she's been spade.

Rehoming because

We adopted Henry with his two brothers in December, but since then they had a bad fight and can no longer be in the same enclosure. (We tried bonding them multiple times with no luck). We've since also had to separate the other two which we had enough space to do, however Henry is by himself as we have no room to keep him near the others. Also, due to the fight, the other two are super aggressive towards him now even if they're separated by bars. (We tried to safely reintroduce which resulted in our decision to rehome him.)
