Rosie and Luna
Our Story
Rosie and Luna were purchased at a Pet Store by my daughter's father while he was visiting from out of town. I believe he thought it would be good for her mental health. I did not think it was a good idea and expressed this, but he got them for her anyway. My daughter's father left town and has made no effort to get them and care for them as he promised he would. My husband has been working on socializing them to make them more comfortable around people. One has made more progress than the other, Luna, the American guinea pig. She will allow you to pet her and will eat from our hands. Rosie, the Abyssinian, is more skittish. She will take food from our hands but does not like to be petted. I know that with more human interaction, they will become more comfortable. Especially if it is from a human who is not wearing a mask and gloves! Cage and other supplies are included.

Rehoming because
Rosie and Luna were adopted by my 21 year old daughter. Unfortunately, my daughter has experienced multiple hospitalizations and is currently out of the state receiving treatment. I am allergic to them. My husband and I have been doing our best to care for them but besides being allergic (I wear a mask and gloves when I interact with them), caring for them is expensive. We also work quite a bit and they are not getting enough human contact/socialization.Timing

Can you SHIP?

But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
