Loving Abyssinian Guinea Pig Siblings Need a Wonderful New Home!

Meet Scooter & Wumpus, my adorable brother-sister duo who are looking for their new forever home! These two 4-year-old Abyssinian guinea pigs (born March 11, 2020) have been an important part of my life since I was 16 or 17, but as life has gotten busier and I’ve been home less—especially after getting a puppy—I want to find them a home where they’ll get all the love, attention, and free-roaming time they deserve as I am simply unable to tend to them as much as I used to.

Meet the Pigs! Wumpus (boy) – The sweetest, most social little pig! He loves to be pet and will happily soak up all the attention you give him. Scooter (girl) – Also social and curious, but a little more independent—she prefers to hang out near you rather than being touched too much. (Fun fact: we originally thought they were both boys, but surprise! Scooter had babies once before being spayed.)

Both are spayed/neutered, healthy, and have been raised in a 22 sq ft flat cage with fleece liners. Their diet consists of 24/7 timothy hay, Oxbow adult pellets, and fresh veggies (they love romaine, basil, green peppers, celery, cucumbers, and dandelion leaves).

What’s Included? I will be sending them with their entire setup for free—their large cage, fleece liners, and hideouts—as long as they’re going to a loving, knowledgeable home. Ideally, I’d love to place them with someone who already has guinea pig experience or can demonstrate they understand their care needs.
