We have over 100 piggies that are looking for their forever homes. There are guinea pigs of many colors, ages, breeds, and both genders. Many of these piggies have been through a lot (abuse, neglect, etc) and could use a home that will love them and care for them like they deserve. All of these piggies are very friendly and will make great pets. They are not too hard to care for, they don't bite, and they sleep during the night unlike other animals. Our rescue ensures that all adoptable piggies are 100% healthy before they leave the rescue. Don't worry if you are a first time owner- we are happy to answer any questions you may have about caring for them! We work with people in NJ, NY, PA, and DE.

Foster homes and donations are also needed. For fostering we provide a cage, igloo, water bottle, food bowl, and cover any vet bills the piggie may incur. You would be responsible for the pellets, hay, bedding and fresh veggies. You can foster for as long or as short as you want so it is less of a commitment than adopting.
Please consider giving a piggie a home. If interested in helping at all, please contact us. We are looking forward to hearing from you :)
My male guinea pig is very lonely since his previous companion recently passed away. I would love to adopt up to two healthy, and social guinea pigs. (As long as they are either male or spayed female)
I am moving to a rental that doesn't accept pets. I need to surrender my peruvian female. She is young, long-haired beauty, that is very friendly and affectionate once you get to know her. Please contact me immediately if you have any openings. I live in Pennsylvania (outside of Philadelphia) and contacted a shelter in Coatesville, PA but they have not responded to my emails. I know she will be adopted quickly.

I live in Philadelphia and would be glad to drop off my pigs, plus their cage and equipment, at the sitter's home in NJ, PA, or DE. I'd be glad to pay a sitter or make a contribution in their name to Have a Heart, whatever they prefer. Thank you!

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
