Rehoming because

I found this little animal in my yard this morning and after asking around, I found out from a neighbor that it had been abandoned by someone. It is a good and healthy and friendly guinea pig. It was only roaming for a day or two, probably hiding somewhere because it didn’t get very dirty.

I found this little one in my yard this morning. S/he’s clean and healthy so I figured she must have come from close by. With that assumption, I went around to the neighbors to find out if any of them had lost it.

One of my neighbors told me that just a day or two ago a young girl was walking around the neighborhood with her guinea pig and its supplies, looking for someone who could take it immediately. We assume a parent was making her get rid of it. No telling. But it is a friendly and healthy little animal. She loves to be petted and held and appears to have been loved by her previous owner.

I do not have the time or resources to invest in a new pet. I need to find it a new home as quickly as possible. I don’t have the cage or the supplies to care for it.

Please pass this on to others.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
