Rehoming because

We have enjoyed our guinea pigs for over 2 years, but recently my daughter has developed allergies to them. I have always been allergic, but have lived with it because my husband and daughter really enjoyed having them around. But recently when my daughter is cleaning the cage or is playing with one of the guineas she will start to scratch and get hives. We feel that it is best that we find them a new home since she is their primary caregiver.

We have 3 female guinea pigs that have been names Daisy, Lily and Rose. Daisy and Lily were Christmas presents to my daughter 2 years ago in 2017. She has been asking for a puppy since she was 7 years old. Mind you we have a dog Roxy that we adopted when our daughter was just over 1 year old and we recently had to put one of our other dogs down. I think out daughter just loves animals. We felt that the guinea pigs would give her the sense of responsibility of being a pet owner. She is their primary caregiver for feeding, water and cleaning the cage every week.

Once Daisy and Lily became adults, Nina missed the "baby phase and size and my husband ended up getting her another baby guinea pig; which she named Rose. Rose was a great addition to the pair and a little spunky. Daisy is tan and black with short hair, Lilly is tan and white with crazy hair, and Rose is tan and white with short hair and a little poof of wacky hair on top. It is adorable, because even though they are all female, I sort of consider Daisy the "dad", Llly the "mom" and Rose the "baby".

I will upload pics as soon as possible. We are looking for an adoption fee of approximately $75, but that will include all three guineas, the cage and everything we have remaining......water bottles, food, bedding, food bowl, storage containers, travel carrier, and snacks/treats.

We hope to hear from you soon!!

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
