I rescued newly named Winston and Balthazar from 2 separate people after they were both mistreated and were going to be thrown outside like garbage/ eaten by their dog.
They were introduced to each other about a week after and have been living together since.
They were very very skiddish at first, but have gotten a lot better since I've been working with them and as long as you continue to work with them it will get even better. They eat veggies, and hay now. They didn't know what to do with it at first because they never were given it, but they love their hay and we are trying out new veggies all the time. So far they eat most of them.
I would like them to go to someone or a family that is knowledgeable or is willing to become knowledgeable and will properly care and love them until the end of their days. They were both child responsibility lessons that went horribly wrong for them and I do not want to see that happen again. Pets are a collective family matter not a single child's.
They will come with either a midwest plus cage or I can give you you a full 2× 3.5 C&C cage. With everything you need to build it. (I also have enough grids to make legs for it.) Which ever cage works better for you.
They will also come with oxbow food pellets, 3rd cutting Timothy hay, food bowls, 2 igloos 2 water bottles, a large hay rack, and if you would like to use fleece as bedding I will give you some from my personal piggie pile.
I do ask for a $45 re-homing fee, but they will come with everything they need.
Please call, text, or email me if you are interested in talking more about them or want to come see them.
If you live a bit away from my area, but you would really love to add them to your home. I would be willing to meet you up to an hour away.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
