Rehoming because

I have had Trixie for a long time. I have taken care of her, but I do not clip her nails or give her floor time. I have had less and less time to take care of her, and my life recently changed drastically. She is expensive for me to keep, and I do not have the room, nor the time, nor the money to take care of her anymore. I want her to go to a good home where they will be able to take care of her like I cannot.

Trixie is a roughly 4 year old guinea pig.  She is possibly a Rex/Abby mix.  She is hyper, but she also has her cuddly moments.  She is sweet, and loves her food and veggies.  When you hold her and pet her, she snuggles and makes bubble like noises.  She loves cilantro and carrots and lettuce.  She's not too fond of fruit, though.  She popcorns and knows a few tricks.  You have to reinforce them every so often, but she remembers them if you remind her.  Her fur is very soft, and she has four different colors.  She knows the sound of the fridge, and will ask for veggies and to be petted.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
