Potato and Roscoe are a male bonded pair. Potato is 4 years old and Roscoe is 3 years old. Potato is the yellow and white cavy and is very kind and cuddly. He is great at letting you trim his nails and groom him and loves meeting new people and Guinea Pigs. Roscoe is the black, yellow, and white cavy and has longer hair, although I do not think he is a silkie. Roscoe is a little sassy, but gets along with Potato as long as they have plenty of space. Roscoe gets a little nervous being held but loves to run through tunnels and explore. They both love lettuce and carrots and go crazy for wheatgrass. They are used to having a large 2x8 cage with additional levels with lots of toys and variety in veggies. They have been fed all organic pellets and hay and have never been sick. I have taken them to the vet every year for a checkup and they are the healthiest, happiest pigs. They also have been around 3 different dogs who loved them so much, so if you have any other pets who are safe around Guinea Pigs, they love to cuddle. It breaks my heart that I have to rehome them, but I want them to have the happiest lives possible, and I will be unable to give them the level of attention they are used to once going to medical school. I am charging a rehoming fee, and am willing to include their cage, toys, 2 large and 2 small fleece pads, huts, hay rack, water bottle, food bowls, litter pan, and what food and hay I have at their time of adoption. I also would like to hear about potential adopters guinea pig experience as well as a vet reference. Please contact me if you are interested. The pigs also have a blog (not very updated) if you want to see more photos of their sweet faces. https://fuzzbois.tumblr.com
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
