Hi all! I am a veterinary assistant and took on these two guinea pigs from the pet store I worked at. They had URI’s and the store asked me if I could take them since I couldn’t sell them. I took them in and with a round of antibiotics and time away from the store they have become healthy happy pigs! I just never planned on having pigs long term. They’re now ready for a loving home with someone looking for them!
I’ve had these boys for a year since nursing them to health after the pet store attached to my hospital could not. They didn’t want them back after they were healthy as they were too old so they have stayed with me. While I love them my apartment doesn’t allow them so I am worried about an inspector seeing them and removing them. Now that they are healthy and have been for 11 months I know they are ready for a forever home. They will be safe and cared for in the meantime but please if you want two pigs who are happy and confident give these ones a chance! They will come with all the supplies you could need for them. This includes C&C cage, flooring, food and water containers, huts, pee pads, and toys!
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
