Rehoming because

Health has changed and I cannot care for them properly anymore.
I have 2 male Guinea pigs that I rescued from my niece and nephew. They were a bonded pair but the pair has broken and they’ve been lone piggies for the last 5 months.

They were purchased as pets for my niece and nephew in august of 2021 from PetSmart. They came to live with me in November of that year.

My health and mobility has changed and I cannot care for them the way they deserve. I have tried to find local friends and family to help but no luck. It is not an emergency but I need help rehoming them. They do not need to go together as I think they will both be happier as lone pigs in the long run. Each one has a 4x2 c&c cage with a coroplast base from guineapigcages. I have the target bath mats for bedding as well as hay bags and a piggies choice hay rack. I have hides as well. It can all go with them to their new homes. I just want them to have better care and attention that what I am able to give them now.

Ziggy is the you get by a few weeks and is much smaller than his former cage mate. He is all black except for a copper collar/necklace. He is very sweet but VERY shy. He seems to enjoy being a solo pig.

Muffin is a tricolor big boy. He enjoys chin scratches an could potentially be bonded again. He enjoys his freedom in the cage, loves to make a mess with his hay and can be a stinky boy if he doesn’t have boar cleaning regularly.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
