Rehoming because

I have been operating a one-woman guinea pig rescue out of my home for the last couple of years. I am happy to have been of service to 42 total resident piggies in that time.

Sadly, my health has taken a very bad turn and I am no longer able to care for them all the way they deserve. I also have new medical expenses that are eating into my piggy care budget. My family and friends have been doing most of the chores and cleaning for me this summer, and lending me money for the vet, but of course this is not sustainable. For the good of the piggies, I have no choice but to wind things down.

Happily, several pigs can be returned to their original humans now that they have better life circumstances. A handful of older and special-needs pigs will be remaining with me. Several pigs have been adopted already! I currently have a pair, a trio, and two quads of piggies available for adoption to good homes.

Hello there! Thank you for considering providing a forever home for guinea pigs in need, whether you adopt from me or someone else.

To take home your piggies, I ask that you have “done your research” and are ready to provide a proper enclosure and healthy diet for your new little buddies. There is an adoption fee of $70 for a pair, $100 for a trio, and $130 for a quad. If you would like to adopt more than one group (bless you) I will discount each additional group by 50%.

I also have cages for sale if you need a home base for your piggies. I have a sturdy rolling cage with a large attached run for $100, and 4 very nice custom wooden and C&C grid cages for $150 each - they are 2x3 grids and modular. They can be attached to make a 2x6 grid, 2x9 grid, etc. and they can also be stacked. If you adopt Peach, Apple, Daisy, and Ginger, a large C&C cage is available - up to 2x8 grids with a 2x2 balcony - $200. Prices can be negotiated if it helps you take home your piggies.

Piggies have best friends! These are the available bonded groups.

Kiwi, Pumpkin, & Flora (Kiwi would do best in a quiet home due to shy temperament)

Violet & Lavender (would do best with an experienced piggy person due to spicy temperaments)

Clover, Sylvie, Iris & Lily (Clover is a fixed male - photos will be posted soon!)

Daisy, Peach, Apple, & Ginger (Beautiful special girls!)

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
