In Fall of 2020 I adopted a small herd of female pigs. One of them was pregnant and we were unaware. The rescue was willing to take her back but we love her and didn't want to let her go I also knew the rescue was already overcrowded so I offered to keep her and said I would reach out for help with the babies if needed. There were 4 babies born on Christmas Eve of 2020, I adopted 2 out to a friend, but I haven't been able to find a home for the boys. The rescue is no longer operating due to unforseen circumstances and is unable to take them in. I didn't plan on having 6 guineas and 2 setups when I adopted. So I've been searching for a loving home since.
A little about the boys
Born 12/24/2020 both unaltered
Orion-buff and white
Current diet is Oxbow adult pellets, free range Timothy hay, fresh veggies 4x a week (Favorite is cilantro and mini peppers), fruit 1x a week (love blueberries and apples), vitamin C treats every day.
Both boys are very sweet and will take food from your hand. Perseus doesn't really like being held but does enjoy head scratches. Orion loves cuddles and being brushed.
They live together in a single level, 2.5 x 4 ft CC cage I made. They are on fleece bedding.
Both boys enjoy warm days outside eating grass and lounging in the sun.
Both are in good health, get regular nail trims and periodic baths. I've never had a bite incident from either. They have been around young children, cats, and dogs.
A rehoming fee applies
Can you SHIP?
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
