Rehoming because

Even after educating myself in advance, I have been unable to give my boys the care they deserve. I'm also highly allergic to their hay (yes I tried different kinds) and have trouble breathing on the nights I have to sleep in my sons' room. ?

My son (4) and I are not pleased, but in a situation where mama needs to rehome our piggies.

We think that our boys are between 12-18 months old. We purchased them from Petsmart just under a year ago and they told us they did not know their age.

Jelly is our short haired guy and loves to meet you at the side of his cage for finger nibbles and treats. He will eat out of your hand. He is very curious and even chases the shop vac hose when I do a quick vaccum of the cage.

Peanut Butter is our long haired fellow and still very skittish. He will be content once you catch him to hold, for a short time. He doesn't enjoy being hand fed and "purrs" to make it clear he is unhappy. He is more demanding about having his own space to hide and we always oblige.

PB&J will come with a c&c cage, a petsmart cage that we use outside in nice weather, 2 bowls, a water bottle, a "litter box", pellets, hay, multiple sets of fleece, puppy pads, and a couple hides and toys. I also cut a cardboard box into a house each time I clean their cage.

They are used to loud noises (boy mom of 3) and curious dogs.

To make sure our guys get the best home, I am asking a rehoming fee.

Please text (primary choice) or call for more information! I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, so please leave a message so I can get back to you!

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
