They are ADORABLE and LOVABLE and I enjoy having them but I’ve found that my tiny apartment is way too small to accommodate their cavey. I originally tried a two-level cavey with a ramp, to save space - sadly they refuse to climb to the second level! They need a large flat space, and I built one but it just doesn’t fit here and it’s very uncomfortable.
Basil and Papanu are extremely sweet, mild-mannered piggies. They are very quiet most of them time (except around 6 pm cuz that is when they get their fresh veggies!) They like to do laps around their cavey in the morning, which is very adorable, and they sleep quietly through the night. they are both very healthy. They don’t mind being pet by humans. If you hold them frequently, they will get used to it and even snuggle with you.
I have built a 4x2 c&c cavey for them, which I have multiple fleece liners and absorbent pads for. I also have tunnels, hidey houses, food, bowls, etc. that I would give to their new humans! All the things :)
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
