My guinea pigs were originally class pets for 6th graders but I had to stop working due to disability.
I am looking for someone who can give them the daily love and attention while also providing a clean living condition. I will be asking for a veterinarian reference and a rehoming fee. I am looking for someone with guinea pig experience or someone who seriously understands the care they will require.
Care: Their cage is fleece and needs to be vacuumed twice daily. They need water bottle refills twice daily. They need pellets, hay, and a veggie daily. Their fleece bedding must be washed once a week. They need nail trims every two weeks. Juanita's hair needs to be cut every month. Griselda has foot spurs that need to be trimmed and cleaned occasionally. This is a lot more work than people originally think. Also, this doesn't include cuddle time and play times.
Juanita is about 2 years old. She is an orange and white Abyssinian. She is a little fiesty but likes ear rubs and veggies. She is in great health and her hair is long and luxurious.
Griselda is about 1 1/2. She is a gray short hair guinea pig. She loves treats and is usually more cuddly than Juanita. She was handled a lot more as a baby so is more tame.
They come with supplies (listed below):
- 1 C&C cage
-1 table for cage
- 1 small cage with fleece bedding for when cleaning c&c cage.
- Fleece bedding for C&C cage
- 2 fleece hideaways
- 2 cuddle cup fleece beds
- Hay, Food
- Other misc accessories: handheld vacuum, hay bag feeder, water bottle, poop bags
Can you SHIP?
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
