Hippo is very sweet, but he is timid. He does much better when we have a lot of time to take him out and play/interact with him. We have recently had changes in our schedule which have made it difficult to give him the time and attention he deserves. He might do better with a friend, but we can’t have a second one. We got a skinny pig due to allergies but didn’t realize we’d still have allergy issues with his hay. We’ve come to the sad decision he would probably be better off in a new home that has more time to spend with him/care for him. We are rehoming him with all his supplies - his cage, water bottle, house, fleece cuddle sacks, and whatever food, hay, and bedding we have.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
