Rehoming because

I am a young Guinea pig owner who has no experience on taking care of Guinea pigs. Unfortunately, I am unable to pay for the food and care for my guinea pigs. I really want to give my guinea pigs a warm loving place to live, but at this time I am unable to provide them with that. The guinea pigs are healthy, One of them are suffering hair loss and I don’t know why. please help me provide my guinea pigs with a better home, thank you.

Hi, I saw this post a couple days ago and was wondering if the two pigs are still available? I’m not completely sure if I can take them but I saw this and really want to make sure they go to a good home!

I am unable to adopt them since I live in Illinois but the hair loss is probably due to malnutrition. With the right food the hair will most likely grow back. Hope this helps.

Can you SHIP?

Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.

But I want THAT one!

Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
