Meet Moka and Peet - Bonded pair of brothers born on November 19th (about 3.5 weeks ago!). They are named after local coffee shops, just like their mom - Caribou! Moka is abyssinian and Peet is English Crested. They are very active, playful young pigs who are 100% weened off from mom, on a diet of fresh veggies, hay, and pellets. They are a bit shy still to human hands, but that is natural for young pigs.
Because Moka and Peet are both boars (male piggies), they cannot be rehomed into any other guinea pig herd. Having two males among many females or more than two males will break their bond, causing terrible fights over territory and dominance. Therefore, we are looking for the right home that will take the two young pigs as they are.
The two of them love to do zoomies around the cage and will wheek at you when you come into the room. Honestly, if we could, we'd keep these little guys cause they are just too darn cute!
We are asking for a $40 donation to help cover the costs of these boys. We also will provide some of the young guinea pig food pellets they are currently eating, but you will need to get your own cage/accessories.
Feel free to contact for more info (or images)!
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
