I have two cages (one larger than the other). The two males have recently moved into the same enclosure and are getting along well. I recently changed jobs and it takes me away from home for more hours than I think is appropriate for having guinea pigs. One male is roughly 2-3 years old, medium brown and caramel hair (he’s a rescue). The other male is less than six months and is a smaller, short-haired guinea pig. He’s beige with caramel, white, and brown patches.
They come with the two cages shown in the photos, a large playpen, as well as food bowls, water bottles, a bed, toys and treats, hay, bedding, and a nail trimmer.
I’m asking for an adoption fee of $80 for two reasons:
1. Guinea pigs need bedding, food, Timothy hay, and things to keep them from being bored, which costs money. If you can’t afford an adoption fee, it’s best to wait a little bit.
2. The cost to buy everything firsthand was more than $300 and, if you get guinea pigs from places like PetSmart or Petco, one guinea pig costs ~$40-$50
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
