I am rehoming because I’m going to college soon and I can’t leave him at home or take him with me since I can’t live off campus. I also do not have the time he needs to have with a person to be loved. My schedule is so full between preparing for college, school and work.
His name is Wren and he does respond to you when you call it. He is not aggressive with humans and has no history of biting a human. He is aggressive with male guinea pigs. I found this out because I have another male pig I’m trying to find a home for too, but they were in the same cage and Wren bit him and made him bleed. He is ONLY aggressive with OTHER PIGS. But he loves to explore his surroundings. He’s not big on being held for a long period of time. But he does like to be pet and doesn’t mind water baths here and there. He is sweet with humans.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
