Rehoming because sweet Cowie deserves a home where she will receive more attention and playtime. We are NOT rehoming due to any behavioral/health/other issues from Cowie; she is truly a wonderful pig. We are heartbroken that we've come to the decision to re-home her, and its been a very hard decision to make, but we truly believe she deserves to be somewhere she can get more attention and love.
Cowie is approximately 2 & 1/2 years old. She got her name from her black/white coloring and her large piggy appetite. She is very sweet and docile. Has never bit. Is used to being around small (wild) children and many other animals, including large dogs, cats, and even a quaker parrot! We briefly had another pig in the home with Cowie, and she did well with it. I feel she could be introduced to another female pig without any issues (as long as its done as recommended). She is a great cuddle partner if you're watching TV, on the computer, whatever. She really loves veggies- carrots, cucumbers, you name it!! She will come with her "personal belongings", including her house, cage, any/all food/bedding we've bought and have on hand at the point that she is adopted, etc.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
