When I got them I was living in the dorms, then I had my own place for 3 months over the summer last year. I got into a car accident and had to move back home. Now my dad just doesn't see the point of keeping them around after all this time and I've got 2 weeks to find them a new home,
My 2 little dudes love exploring. I've always considered Churro(orange) to be the brains and the braun while Leo learns from what his older brother(2 weeks older) does. I used to let them have playtime in a pen but Churro always figured out how to get out, once he jumped over the cage, Leo did not copy that. Nowadays I let them loose in my room when I'm studying. Churro will walk across the keyboard for attention and play tug of war with you when you don't let him eat your assignment. Leo on the other hand only gets loud/demanding when he wants treats, reminding you to refill the water bottle or to be let out. Leo is more skittish around people but Churro is very curious. They like back scratches and hiding in hoodies. They also know how to go up and down the stairs (better going up). I really hope I can find them the home they deserve because it's already hard knowing I have to let them go. I do still have their cage and playpen to take with them if needed. They are the cutest little things when they're asleep! Sometimes they cuddle just like when they were smaller.
Sorry, NO. Please do not contact the owner and ask about shipping guinea pigs. It is NOT possible. Please look for guinea pigs LOCAL to you! That's what this site is for--helping you find a guinea pig close to home to adopt and love.
But I want THAT one!
Yes, that one is adorable and looks just like the one you must have for your very important reason or you will not be able to go on living. But, there are many more in your area that are just as wonderful. Perhaps they are not listed here, but they can be found. The piggy in need waiting for you near your own back yard might look a little different, but could melt your heart anyway!
